PM Vučić and Chinese Deputy PM Vang on a summit of leaders of 16 countries

Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić and Chinese Deputy PM Vang Chao discussed preparations for the third summit of the leaders of 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe in Belgrade in December, which summit is being organized by China and Serbia. Vučić said he had personally phoned the PMs of 15 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and that almost all of them had confirmed their participation in the summit in Belgrade, where China will be represented by PM Li Keqiang. Before taking part in the summit, the Chinese PM will be having bilateral talks with Serbian officials. That will be the first visit of a Chinese PM to Serbia after 28 years. The visit will be dedicated to the improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries, which are already connected with traditional friendship and strategic partnership. A new bridge in Belgrade, connecting Zemun and Borča, which is being built by a Chinese company, will be opened on that occasion.
